There are phishing emails circulating in which scammers pose as delivery service DPD. These emails typically have the subject "Shipping Update" and claim that a DPD parcel is on its way. In reality, these messages are designed to steal personal information or install malicious software.
Be aware of the following signs:
- A double DPD logo
- The sender’s email address does not end in @dpd.nl
- French terms such as "moyen de paiement" instead of Dutch or English
- A request to click a link to view shipping details
Important:
- Do not click on any links in suspicious emails.
- DPD never asks for advance payments, except in the case of customs duties for parcels coming from the United Kingdom. In such cases, the email will always include a 14-digit parcel number that can be verified via the official Track & Trace page.
- If in doubt, contact DPD via the official contact form or call us at +31 85 0022222.
- You can also report suspicious emails to the Fraud Helpdesk, which helps protect other consumers.
