DPD not only specialises in B2B. You can also count on our expertise for B2C shipments. We have developed DPD Home specially for B2C shipments. We deliver parcels at home, and with Predict your customer receives an email showing a one-hour window within which the parcel will arrive. Predict also offers your customer the ability to modify the delivery.

Our supplementary options

Saturday delivery

DPD can also deliver your parcels on Saturdays. We collect the parcel on Thursday or Friday, and deliver it in the Netherlands, Belgium or Luxembourg on Saturday. You arrange the Saturday option through your label tool.

Collection request

If you want, we can collect a parcel for you from the customer, and deliver it to you or to someone else. This service is called Collection request. The DPD option is available in 25 countries through your label tool.

Opting to have your parcel collected? Then your customer will receive an email stating when we will arrive.

Higher insurance

With DPD your parcels are insured to an item value of €520 as standard. For valuable shipments you can even take advantage of higher cover up to €13,000 per package. The option is available up to 20 parcels per calender month.

Would you like to use Higher insurance? Then ask for it before shipping.

Age check

Certain items may only be delivered to persons 18 years or older. Especially for this purpose an age check option is available in our label tools. The recipient will have to show the driver a valid ID. The last 5 digits are registered on the driver's scanner so we can comply with the law.

Delivery to a Pickup parcelshop – 2Shop

Being able to decide for yourself where and when a parcel will be delivered. That’s what consumers really value. That’s why DPD has developed the 2Shop service. DPD delivers not just to your customers at home, but also to Pickup parcelshops. DPD has no fewer than 70,000 Pickup parcelshops in Europe, with 1,500 of them in the Netherlands. So there’s always one near your customer.

Naturally, customers sometimes want to return an order. You can’t avoid it. Fortunately, managing your returns doesn’t have to be a complicated process. At DPD you can count on efficiency, flexibility and control. And that ensures satisfied customers.

There are three reasons why you should always let your returns be handled by DPD:

  1. We offer a wide range of options. It doesn’t matter whether you want to include a return label in the packaging, e-mail it later, or have the returns collected from your customer. It’s all possible with DPD. We have the right solution for every company.
  2. At DPD you manage your returns simply and efficiently. This means your goods will quickly be available for sale again.
  3. You can use the online ‘Return your parcel’ portal  at no extra cost. Besides being able to make online returns possible for your customers via your own website, you can also fully personalise it with your own logo, photo and colours.

The recipient creates the return him/herself, saving you a lot of work.

Your options for effortless returns

Include the return label in the packaging. Your customer wants to return the item? Then all he has to do is stick the parcel label on the packaging and drop it off at a Pickup parcelshop. So easy!

If your customer indicates that he wants to return an item, send the return label by e-mail. Your customer prints out the PDF with the return label, sticks it on the parcel and takes the parcel to a Pickup parcelshop. The advantage for you? In your contact with the customer you can ask why he wants to return the item. That’s valuable information for you!

You’d rather not have your returns delivered to a Pickup parcelshop? And you’d prefer to have them picked up at the customer’s premises? Then use our Collection request. The driver will take the return label with him when he picks up the parcel. This guarantees that your customer can return his parcel without any worries. This service is available throughout Europe.
