Waiting for your parcel is a thing of the past – thanks to Predict

With Predict and Live Tracking, you’ll never have to wait for a parcel again. On the day of delivery, we’ll tell you exactly when you can expect your parcel. And with Live Tracking, you can see how many stops the driver still has to make before reaching you.

What makes Predict so special?

  1. You’ll receive a message from DPD on the day of delivery. This message specifies a one-hour period within which your parcel will be delivered.

  2. If your plans change and you won’t be at home? Then you can easily adjust the time or place of delivery online. You can also choose to have your parcel delivered to a parcelshop.

  3. On the delivery day, you can follow your parcel online thanks to Live Tracking. On the map you can even see how many stops the driver still has to make.

You decide when and where you want to receive your parcel. And if you’re not at home, you can always modify the delivery. So you never have to miss your parcel!

Safe place

You can authorise us to leave your parcel in a specific place. For example at the back door or in the garage. This may be a one-off or general permission for all your parcels. This is how to give authorization to leave the parcel in a safe place:

One-off
1. Choose ‘Safe place’ from the list of options you receive in your notification from DPD.
2. Describe the place where we can leave the parcel (e.g. at the back door).
3. The driver will leave the parcel in the place you have indicated.

General
1. Download the ‘Safe place’ form here.
2. Fill in all the details and describe the place where we can leave the parcel (e.g. at the back door).
3. Return the completed and signed form to us by email.

Change the delivery address

Online you can indicate the address where the driver can leave the parcel. Here’s how it works:

1. Choose ‘Change delivery address’ in the list of options.
2. Enter the address where you want your parcel to be delivered.
3. Your parcel will then be delivered to the new address.

Choose a Pickup parcelshop

You can choose to have your parcel delivered to a Pickup parcelshop near you. Here’s how:

1. Choose ‘Delivery to a Pickup parcelshop’ from the list of options.
2. Choose a parcelshop near you.
3. You can then pick up your parcel at this parcelshop.

Changing the day

Maybe you’d rather have your parcel delivered on a different day. No problem. Here’s how:

1. Choose ‘Change delivery day’ in the list of options.
2. In the calendar, click the day of your preference.
3. You’ll then receive the parcel on the chosen day.

The easy way to return parcels

Sometimes something you buy doesn’t live up to expectations. Thankfully you can count on DPD when this happens, because we make returning parcels very easy. And offer various options to do so.

  1. If you don’t receive a DPD label with your order, you can request one from the webshop.
    Once you've received the label from the webshop, print it out, stick it on your parcel and take the parcel to one of our Pickup parcelshops. We have more than 850 in the Netherlands alone.
  2. The supplier will have the parcel collected
    The webshop will instruct DPD to collect the parcel from your home. Then all you have to do is wait for DPD to let you know when we will pick it up. Please note: Not every webshop uses this service.
  3. You have to arrange the return yourself
    This is very easy with DPD, too. With our online shipping service, you can buy a label directly and send your parcel via one of our Pickup parcelshops.
