Philadelphia Zorg and DPD are set to collaborate by establishing parcel points at day centres. This will create rewarding and challenging work opportunities for Philadelphia Zorg’s clients, who can play a role at our parcel points within the scope of their own abilities. In this way, we are combining the growth of our network with the creation of meaningful workplaces. For us, this is corporate social responsibility: doing business in a way that adds value for both our organisation and society.
What began as a brief chat in Sneek is now taking on an official, nationwide form. Machteld Koelewijn, Director of Youth, Work & Development at Philadelphia, and Maarten Kruyt, Director of Out-of-Home at DPD Netherlands, have signed an agreement for a partnership of which we are both proud. This is an example of how organisations and businesses can contribute to enabling people with disabilities to lead ordinary, independent lives. At the same time, those same businesses and organisations can count on the enthusiasm and dedication of the participants. Following Sneek, events took place in Amsterdam and Hilversum. Here’s to an even broader partnership.
