FEATURES:

• A maximum of 10 packages are accepted in one shipment, with the exception of shipments through DPD lockers, through which a maximum of one package can be sent per destination.
• For door-to-door deliveries, the maximum weight allowed per package is 31.5 kg, and the maximum length allowed per package is 175 cm.
• For shipments through DPD lockers, the maximum weight allowed per package is 20 kg, and the maximum dimensions accepted are 60 x 35 x 37 cm (indoor lockers) and 48 x 38 x 35 cm (outdoor lockers).
• DPD offices cannot receive more than 30 parcels from a single sender in a single day, and the total weight cannot exceed 500 kg.
• For shipments through DPD Shops, the maximum weight allowed per parcel is 15 kg, and the maximum dimensions accepted are 60 x 40 x 37 cm.
• For each additional parcel in a shipment (multiple shipment) an additional fee of 2.80 RON per parcel is applied.
• Redirection / correction of addresses for free in the case of deliveries in the same locality. In the case of redirections from one locality to another, additional costs will be charged.
• Two free delivery attempts, made on different days.
• Retention of failed delivery shipments in the DPD network for 7 days.
• DPD Romania’s coverage network includes 7,301 localities with no additional pick-up/delivery fees and 6,450 localities in the Extra Network.

TAX APPLIED FOR LOCATIONS OUTSIDE THE AREA OF DPD ROMANIA COVERAGE:

• DPD Romania’s coverage network includes 7,301 localities with no additional pick-up/delivery fees and 6,450 localities within the Extra Network.
• For parcel pick-up and delivery to/from locations situated more than 40 km from the nearest DPD Hub/Warehouse, outside the standard DPD network, an Extra Network fee of 9 RON will apply.

ADDITIONAL FEE FOR OVERSIZED PARCELS

• For parcels that exceed 100 cm (on any side), starting November 6, 2025, an additional fee of 20 lei will be applied.

• This fee applies to both domestic and international shipments, with the exception of the “DPD Tires” and “DPD Pallet One” services.

TAXABLE WEIGHT

• When calculating the taxable weight of the parcel, the greater weight between the gravimetric weight (determined by actual weighing) and the volumetric weight (volumetric weight = length x width x height in cm / 6000 resulting in kg) will be taken into account.
• Shipments with a physical weight greater than 31.5 Kg will be transported only through the DPD Cargo National service.
• For parcels with a volumetric weight greater than 32kg, a rate of 3.50 RON/kg is applied for each additional kg over 32kg.
• For parcels that exceed the volumetric weight of 50 kg, an additional fee of 90 RON/parcel will be applied.
