We continuously improve our parcel collection, sorting, and delivery processes to meet the growing needs of our business customers and evolving market requirements. In light of these changes, we have reviewed and updated the Parcel Delivery Rules document.
The updated rules will take effect on 1 April 2026.
An ordered unloading service is a guaranteed service for unloading and carrying a heavy parcel from the van to the delivery address.
During unloading and carrying, the Recipient does not participate.
The courier drives to the nearest safe and accessible location at the delivery address. The courier moves the shipment to the rear of the van, after which the Recipient unloads and carries the shipment independently.
The courier does not participate in unloading or carrying the shipment.
Manufacturer’s transport packaging is the original packaging designed by the manufacturer for the safe transportation of the product. It protects the item against impact, vibration, and pressure and allows the package to be pushed, pulled, or dragged. The packaging must be rigid, reinforced, include internal protective materials (e.g. foam), and be clearly marked with transport symbols such as “Fragile” (e.g. packaging used for televisions or household appliances).
If an individual parcel weighs more than 25 kg but is not packed in manufacturer’s transport packaging, it must, in all cases, be placed on a pallet and packaged in accordance with DPD parcel packaging.
Parcels weighing 25–50 kg are delivered by two couriers, while parcels weighing 50–100 kg are delivered using special handling equipment. If, for objective reasons (e.g. doors that are too narrow, staircases too tight for manoeuvring, or an unusually high threshold), it is not possible to use a powered trolley with a stair-climbing function for delivery, the parcel will be delivered to the specified address. In such cases, the courier will drive to the nearest safe and accessible location where the parcel can be unloaded.
Šis pakeitimas įgyvendinamas vadovaujantis LR Valstybinės darbo inspekcijos ir ES direktyvomis dėl krovinių tvarkymo rankomis. 25 kg riba nustatyta kaip saugi vienam asmeniui keliant krovinį rankomis ir padeda mažinti profesinių traumų riziką bei užtikrinti saugesnius ir efektyvesnius krovos procesus.
Atsižvelgiant į svorio pokytį vienai pakuotei, keičiame svorį užsakomiesiems krovos darbams (UKD), siuntų pakrovimo it iškrovim, pristatymo iki durų bei iki adreso taisykles.
To avoid misunderstandings with Recipients, the Sender is responsible for ordering handling service for heavy parcels or informing the Recipient in advance that unloading and carrying the parcel will be the Recipient’s responsibility, i.e., without the courier’s involvement.
If the handling service is not ordered and:
A single parcel weighs more than 25 kg;
The parcel’s dimensions exceed 3 m;
The shipment consists of more than 25 standard parcels.
In such cases, the courier will deliver the shipment to the nearest safe location that is accessible by the vehicle. The courier will place the shipment at the edge of the van’s cargo area, and the recipient must unload the shipment themselves and carry it away. The courier does not assist with unloading or carrying the shipment.
