8th of July: Power outage at Oirschot hub may cause delays

On the evening of Monday, July 7, our hub in Oirschot experienced a power outage. The impact was greater than usual, as the backup power supply also temporarily failed. As a result, operations at the hub were halted for several hours. The hub is now fully operational again, but parcels routed through Oirschot may be delivered slightly later than usual.

We are deploying extra shifts and temporarily rerouting volume to other hubs to clear the backlog as quickly as possible.

July 15–18th, 2025: Limited accessibility in the Nijmegen region due to the Four Days Marches

From Tuesday, July 15 to Friday, July 18, the Four Days Marches (Vierdaagse) will take place in Nijmegen. Due to walking routes and road closures, Nijmegen city centre will be inaccessible for deliveries and collections throughout the week. Access will already be limited on Monday, July 14 due to event setup. We aim to catch up on these deliveries as much as possible on Saturday.

In other towns along the route, a maximum delay of one day may occur. Shipments affected by this will be delivered the following day.

Thank you for your understanding during this large-scale public event.

Due to the ongoing heat, we’re taking extra measures to ensure safe working conditions for our drivers and sorting teams. As a result, some parcels may be delivered slightly later than usual.

We’re doing everything we can to minimize the impact and appreciate your understanding!

 

Russia:

We suspended all Geopost shipments to and from Russia on February 28th, 2022. 

 

Special countries:

Geopost has decided it will no longer ship parcels to Cuba, South Sudan, North Korea, Myanmar (Burma) and Syria. Should you wish to ship your products to these countries, this is no longer possible trough DPD.

Temporary interruption of DPD Shipper Central on 12th of July

On Saturday 12 July, between 15:00 and 15:30, DPD Shipper Central will be temporarily unavailable due to a technical bug fix. During this maintenance window, it will not be possible to create labels. DPD Shipper Webservices and Local will remain fully operational.
