Parcel update
Every day, we deliver thousands of parcels with care and dedication. Most of the time, everything goes according to plan – in our sorting process, on the road, and in our systems. But sometimes, delays can occur due to busy periods, weather, public holidays, or a technical update or disruption. On this page, we’ll keep you informed about anything that may affect your delivery or our digital tools. That way, you always know what to expect.
Delays
On this page you’ll find an overview of current delays in our services. We’re working hard to deliver parcels as quickly as possible and will keep you updated here about any disruptions.
Due to actions by striking farmers, several border crossings between France and Spain are currently (partially) closed in both directions. As a result, freight traffic cannot pass on certain routes.
This may cause delays to shipments to and from Spain (and potentially to transit shipments via Spain). We are closely monitoring the situation and adjusting our planning where possible.
Customer update:
On Monday we’ll resume pickups as scheduled (regular volume).
We’ll collect only your usual (regular) volume; please do not add extras to Monday’s pickup. Extra volume will be scheduled separately, please share the total extra volume with your usual contact person.
Recipient update: Delivery & safety (freezing rain advisory)
Due to ongoing snow and icy conditions, we decide per region and per route whether it is safe to drive. Where it is responsible and accessible, we collect and deliver as usual. In some areas a route may start later, be rescheduled, or be cancelled.

12th of August: Warning: phishing messages in circulation
We are currently seeing phishing SMS and email messages being sent in the name of DPD. These messages often come from an international phone number that is not ours, contain links to fake websites, and ask for personal information or to reschedule a delivery.
Our advice:
Russia:
We suspended all Geopost shipments to and from Russia on February 28th, 2022.
Geopost has decided it will not ship parcels to Cuba, South Sudan, North Korea, Myanmar (Burma) and Syria. Should you wish to ship your products to these countries, this is not possible trough DPD.
