Every day, we deliver thousands of parcels with care and dedication. Most of the time, everything goes according to plan – in our sorting process, on the road, and in our systems. But sometimes, delays can occur due to busy periods, weather, public holidays, or a technical update or disruption. On this page, we’ll keep you informed about anything that may affect your delivery or our digital tools. That way, you always know what to expect.

Delays

On this page you’ll find an overview of current delays in our services. We’re working hard to deliver parcels as quickly as possible and will keep you updated here about any disruptions.

Additional information: around the public holidays our services may differ. On certain days we operate with limited sorting and collections are by appointment only; there is no regular collection. If you do want a collection on these days, please contact your account manager. See the opening schedule below and plan your shipments in good time. For international shipments, you can find the last drop-off day per country before Christmas and New Year via the link below.

Do you have extra volume? Please contact your account manager to discuss the options.

Update 18th of November: Possible impact of strikes in Belgium (24–26 November)

Several strikes have been announced in Belgium from Monday 24 to Wednesday 26 November. As a result, parcel deliveries to and within Belgium may be delayed, especially on Wednesday 26 November during the general strike.

24 November: public transport strike, limited impact on our operations expected.

25 November: actions in public services, with impact mainly in the Brussels city centre.

26 November: general strike, this is the day with the highest risk of delays, for example due to blockades of industrial areas and access roads to depots.

We will do everything we can to process and deliver parcels as normally as possible. Via Track & Trace, we will keep you informed of the status of your shipment as well as we can.

12th of August: Warning: phishing messages in circulation

We are currently seeing phishing SMS and email messages being sent in the name of DPD. These messages often come from an international phone number that is not ours, contain links to fake websites, and ask for personal information or to reschedule a delivery.

Our advice:

  • Do not click on links in these messages
  • Always check that the email address ends with @dpd.nl
  • Only schedule deliveries via dpd.nl or the official DPD app
  • Call us only on our official phone number 085-0022222

Russia:

We suspended all Geopost shipments to and from Russia on February 28th, 2022.

Worldwide:

Geopost has decided it will not ship parcels to Cuba, South Sudan, North Korea, Myanmar (Burma) and Syria. Should you wish to ship your products to these countries, this is not possible trough DPD.
