New features on myDPD

 

With immediate effect parcel customers can use the new “Favourite shop" and “General online deposit okay" features on myDPD. The parcel management platform is constantly being further developed and so there are now two additional features in addition to the existing ones ...

 

General online deposit okay

In the past it was only possible to create deposit okays online for parcels that were already in transit, or to send a completed form with a deposit okay to the depot. For consignees who want to have their parcels deposited in a safe place regularly, the new feature offers a convenient online solution for this case. They can simply create a general online deposit okay on myDPD and the parcels will always be deposited at a safe place of their choice.

 

Favourite parcel shop

Previously, recipients only had the option of redirecting a parcel to a Pickup parcelshop if it was delivered with a Predict advance notice or if the first delivery attempt ended with a parcel notification in the letterbox. From now on, private customers can register the Pickup parcel shop of their choice as their favourite parcel shop in their myDPD account. In this way consignees can decide for themselves at which shop the parcel should be waiting for them if they can't take delivery of it at home.
