DPD donates to Caritas

Leopoldsdorf bei Wien, November 28th 2019. This year for the first time DPD called on its staff to participate in the Caritas collection week. Amongst other things money was collected for the "Gruft” (crypt), Vienna's best-known Caritas facility for homeless people. Daniel Neumann, CEO of DPD shareholder Gebrüder Weiss Paketdienst GmbH, recently presented the proceeds of the fund-raising campaign to this charitable institution.   Judith Hartweger, head of the "Gruft", is delighted with the sleeping bags, clothing, various toiletries, tins and dog food.

DPD has been supporting "Caritas" for many years with various measures. The "Cooking for the crypt" campaign has already been carried out several times.
