With 16 depots and one main transshipment hub in Linz/Hörsching, primetime operates a nationwide depot network across Austria and guarantees the shortest standard transit times. With more than 280 linehaul routes (export and import lines) and 1,600 delivery routes, we are on the road for you every day.

Prinzipiell werden alle Zustellhindernisse durch einen Zusatzcode bei der Zustellscannung erfasst und sind im Track & Trace für Sie jederzeit abrufbar. In principle, all delivery obstacles are recorded with an additional code during the delivery scan and can be accessed by you at any time via Track & Trace. In the event of a delivery obstacle, primetime will inform you immediately by phone, SMS, email, or fax. When placing the order, you can already specify whether and how you would like to be contacted. If the recipient is not available, a second delivery attempt will be made by primetime on the next working day between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Of course, this does not incur any additional costs for you.

In case of delivery obstacles, the parcel will be stored at the depot for five working days and returned to the sender on the sixth working day.

pt-business.at – your parcel management platform

On our service platform pt-business.at, you can place orders online and transfer your shipment data digitally. The reporting function allows you to generate specific parcel statistics. You can also access the online shipment histories and proof of delivery for your consignments.

In addition, you can easily arrange higher insurance coverage online and initiate a parcel inquiry (redelivery or return shipment). You can also independently print the corresponding parcel labels.

Delivery by 12.00 noon

Reliable delivery of your parcel on the morning of the next working day (Monday–Friday), no later than 12:00 noon

12.00 noon to 5:00 p.m.

Delivery takes place between 12:00 noon and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday – a special time window for cases where your recipient is only available in the afternoon. For more details, please refer to the postcode lookup.

Guaranteed delivery by no later than 5:00 p.m. The right option if the exact delivery time is less important to you or the sender than other services, such as “value parcel” or “cash on delivery”.

Fixed appointment – precise delivery

A fixed delivery appointment is also possible with us. This allows you to agree on the exact delivery time together with your customers for urgent or sensitive shipments—ensuring an extra level of customer satisfaction.

You can schedule any delivery time on the day following collection, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. We deliver your parcel on time within a tolerance window of +/- 30 minutes.

Saturday delivery – we also deliver on weekends

We also offer flexibly combinable express options for your parcels on Saturdays. There are often urgent shipments that need to be delivered after Friday—this is exactly what our Saturday delivery service is designed for, with two time options available:

By 10:00 a.m.

Guaranteed Saturday delivery by no later than 10:00 a.m. Wherever this service is available (please refer to the postcode lookup), we can deliver your parcel by this time upon request.

By 12.00 noon

Guaranteed express delivery on Saturday by no later than 12:00 noon. Please refer to the postcode lookup.

Secure and reliable.

With cash on delivery you ensure that your parcel is only handed over against cash payment. On average, you can dispose over the invoice amount 48 hours after the parcel delivery. In this way you will get your money quickly and securely and leave nothing to chance. We offer the cash on delivery service via DPD's cooperation partner Primetime. On-site Logistics

Construction sites as well as the venues of major events can sometimes appear very complex, especially when several companies work there at the same time. Usually there is also no fixed goods receipt point, or only a temporary one. It is therefore particularly important that the delivery not only arrives at the right time, but also reaches the right person. We have developed our On-site Logistics service to meet these specific requirements. Before delivery, the driver calls the contact person in order to provide information about the delivery time.

With primetime delivery notification, your recipients always know when their parcel will be delivered. If the recipient has provided a valid email address or phone number, primetime informs them on the day before delivery about the scheduled delivery time (by 10:00 a.m. / 12:00 noon / 5:00 p.m., from 12:00 noon, or at a fixed appointment—exactly as it suits you).

With the additional Predict function, the recipient is informed on the day of delivery about the expected delivery time window of up to 4 hours.

If it is a cash-on-delivery parcel, your recipient will also be informed of the amount to be paid. This ensures full transparency and keeps your recipients informed about their parcel at all times.

primetime is also available to assist you if a parcel needs to be returned to you. Simply contact your responsible primetime depot and provide the new delivery address.

Your individual return order:

  • Delivery of the parcel takes place on the next working day after collection
  • To any address within Austria
  • Collection available by 10:00 a.m., 12:00 noon, 5:00 p.m., or between 12:00 noon and 5:00 p.m.

Insured parcel

“Better safe than sorry”

In principle, every parcel is insured with us up to a goods value of €520. However, if the value exceeds this limit, it is advisable to ensure sufficient insurance coverage in advance and classify your shipment as a value parcel.

With the additional service “value parcel” from our cooperation partner Primetime, you can insure your shipment according to its value up to a maximum of €15,000 and also arrange special security handling.

ID check

“Business, truly personal”

A product from our cooperation partner Primetime: for parcels with the ID check service we check on your behalf the identity of the person entitled to take delivery using a valid identification document. With the extension of the service - ID 16/18 - the age of the consignee is verified in addition to the identity. In this way you can be sure that any parcel with confidential content or a product with an age restriction is only handed over to the correct target person or to a person of the specified age.

Department Delivery

“Business without detours”

Sometimes a parcel takes longer from the point of delivery to its actual consignee than from the shipper to the point of delivery. For this purpose we offer Department Delivery via our cooperation partner Primetime: within the consignee's premises we deliver directly to the department or person specified by the consignor.

Return of Packaging

“For the environment and your wallet”

With this supplementary service you save money and protect the environment! Your special packaging, some of which is very expensive to produce, will be taken back and returned to you in the course of a later pickup/delivery. This is also carried out by our logistics partner Primetime.

Return of Contracts

“Simple and reliable”

In order to save your contractual customers the trip to a sales point, with us you can ship the product together with the contract. As part of the delivery, the contract enclosed with the parcel is removed, signed by the consignee and returned to the shipper at agreed intervals.

Repair collection

The sender provides the empty packaging for collecting the repair item. During the primetime delivery, the repair item is picked up using this packaging—simple, fast, and packaging-efficient.

On-site exchange

“Replaced in no time”

Delivery is carried out on site as a direct exchange of the parcel contents. primetime delivers the replacement item and swaps it with the recipient’s product; the exchanged item is then returned to the agreed address in the same packaging unit.

Multiple-way return service

We deliver the packaging unit, the contents are removed on site, and the empty packaging is immediately taken back.
