All delivered parcels are left at a distance of two metres from the consignee and without any direct contact. The need for the consignee's signature on the courier scanner has been replaced by one of the following ways.

What can you expect if you are waiting for a parcel to be delivered to your home?

The courier will leave your parcel two metres away from you and will not make any direct contact with you.

Will I need to sign on a scanner?

No, to avoid any contact and reduce the risk, you do not need to sign the scanner. The consignee's signature shall be replaced in PIN code:

  1. The consignee receives a 4-digit PIN code (via SMS or to the Viber app, if he use app) before delivery.
  2. During delivery courier asks for the PIN code of the consignee.
  3. The courier enters the PIN code on his scanner.
  4. If the PIN code is correct, the courier leaves the parcel 2 meters from the consignee.

What I should do if I do not have a PIN code or have not received one?

The consignee’s PIN code shall be replaced in one of the following ways:

1. At a distance, show your courier a valid form of ID. The courier will enter the last 5 digits of the ID number on the scanner. The document number is not your personal identification number. Appropriate documents include: passport, ID card, driver's licence, residence permit for Lithuania.

2. If you do not have an identity document with you, the courier can direct your parcel to the most convenient DPD Pickup parcel locker at your request. In this case, the parcel must not exceed the maximum limits for the size and weight of the parcel locker: maximum length – 61 cm, maximum width – 44 cm, maximum height – 37 cm, maximum weight of the parcel – 20 kg.

3. If you refuse all of the above methods, the courier cannot deliver the parcel. The parcel is then returned to the consignor.
