27 April 2020 Ordered loading/unloading service is temporarily unavailable for packages weighing 80–120 kg.

x

During the quarantine period, we aim to minimise any potential risks to our employees and customers. In accordance with the safety recommendations for COVID-19, from 27 April 2020 (Monday) we will temporarily suspend the ordered loading/unloading service for packages weighing 80–120 kg.

You may send a parcel weighing 80–120 kg packed on a pallet. We will deliver the parcel to the consignee’s exterior door (couriers will not bring the parcel to the premises). Please note that when ordering this service, the service would need access with a DPD truck.

Subsequent ordered loading/unloading services will be provided only for packages weighing from 31.5 kg to 80 kg.

We will inform you about the renewed service provision by a separate notice.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

1 April 2020 Please stop using handwritten parcel stickers

In order to further reduce the potential risks of COVID-19 and limit physical contact, we strongly recommend that you refrain from using handwritten parcel stickers filled in by the courier and create them by yourself with the parcel marking interface at www.esiunta.lt.

  1. Avoid close contact with the courier;
  2. There will be no need to discuss with the courier or provide parcel data on paper;
  3. There is no need to check a hand-filled sticker;
  4. The time spent by the courier at your company's premises will be reduced.

How to create a parcel sticker?

Use the parcel-marking interface at www.esiunta.lt

We will create a login and password for your convenience. Send us your DPD payer ID and company name by e-mail to [email protected]

What should I do if I don't have a printer?

After entering the parcel data at www.esiunta.lt, call the courier and they will bring the parcel sticker free of charge the next business day and pick up your parcels.

In response to the quarantine and the increased risk to our couriers, we strongly recommend that you refrain from using handwritten parcel stickers, and we would like to inform you that, from April 1, 2020, all parcels prepared without a parcel sticker will be subject to an additional charge of €1.50. A parcel without a parcel sticker is a parcel for which the courier fills in the parcel data by hand upon arrival to pick up the parcel.

More detailed information about the pricing of parcels without a sticker can be found in the official letter here: Letter on UAB DPD Lietuva Pricing Changes.

30 March 2020 Changes in ordered loading/unloading service

Given the current situation regarding COVID-19, we are taking preventive actions to protect your customers and the couriers. Normally, parcels are carried by one courier with the help of the consignee.

We are currently taking every step to reduce any potential risks, so we aim to ensure the contactless delivery of heavy parcels. This means that the consignee cannot carry the parcel together with the courier. The consignee cannot get into the courier's car, so the consignee cannot unload the consignment even with an assistant.

What changes have been made?

  1. The courier cannot unload and/or carry the consignment with the consignee.

  2. From March 30 this year, all household appliances heavier than 31.5 kg will be delivered by two DPD couriers and without the assistance of the consignee. Such packages MUST be covered by the ordered loading/unloading service.

  3. All the parcels, both with the ordered loading/unloading service and without it, are delivered by the couriers only to the consignee’s door. Couriers are not allowed to enter private houses or apartments, except in common areas (e.g. staircases, common corridors, etc.).

*The weight of one package may not exceed 80 kg, and the weight of a parcel may not exceed 480 kg.

What packages does it apply to?

Household appliances,

where the package weighs 31.5–80 kg.

16 March 2020 DPD Pickup points are temporarily closed

DPD Pickup points are temporarily closed

From March 16, we have temporarily suspended the issuance and dispatch of parcels at DPD Pickup parcel points, as the activities of places where parcel points are located, i.e. non-food stores, salons and other service points, are suspended in accordance with the resolution of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania.

Parcels that have been sent to parcel points will be directed to the nearest DPD Pickup parcel lockers. If you have any questions, we will gladly answer them by e-mail [email protected] or by phone +370 5210 6777 (working hours I–V: 08:00–18:00).
