DPD Nederland has expanded its management team. Erwin Tollenaar (52) becomes COO of the parcel service from 1 July 2019. Alongside CEO Eric Dietz, CFO Jan Hattink and CCO Thiemo van Spellen, he completes the company’s management. As COO, Tollenaar will focus mainly on the further development of the operational organisation. This will assure DPD of a sound basis on which to realise its growth strategy and guarantee the high quality of its services.
Erwin Tollenaar has many years of experience in international logistics, strategic and operational roles. In occupying a range of senior and management positions at companies such as Sony, Kuehne+Nagel, NedTrain and Ingram Micro, he has made managing growth and complex logistics processes his area of expertise. He has also lived and worked in a number of countries. In his role as Managing Director at Ingram Micro, Tollenaar was responsible for implementing and managing operational e-commerce branches for companies such as Bol.com, Zalando and Asos.
