EK Squash 2022 naar Nederland

The biggest squash tournament in Europe, when top international players such as Gregory Gaultier, Camille Serme, Simon Rossner and Milou van der Heijden compete for their country, will be coming to the Netherlands in 2022.

The organisation, consisting of Squashtime Eindhoven, DPD Pakketservice, Squash Bond Nederland and the European Squash Federation, believes it is important to focus all attention during the coming months on starting up the sport of squash again and tackling COVID-19. There are still too many uncertainties, making it impossible to organise the 2020 European Championships which were originally to be held in April this year. The good news is that the event will still be coming to the Netherlands in 2022.

“We were all ready to make the European Squash Championships a massive European Squash Festival. Squash lovers now need to be patient, but nothing will be lost by waiting just a little longer. We will make sure that this event in 2022 will be one to remember for a long time.’’

“As a huge squash lover, I am proud and pleased that we have been able to attract a major squash event to the Netherlands again, and as DPD can contribute to the organisation of the European Championships. Sadly these championships could not go ahead in April due to COVID-19, but everyone has worked incredibly hard with the organisation to stage the event in the Netherlands in 2022. We will make this the biggest squash festival in Europe.”

 

Ticket sales
Ticket sales for the 2022 European Championships will start next year. Tickets already bought will remain valid for the 2022 Championships. As soon as there is news about the tournament, this will be published on www.eksquash.nl.
