DPD official partner of Team Jumbo-Visma

DPD is now an official partner of the skating team and cycling team of Team Jumbo-Visma. Last February the parcel service signed the sponsor contract with Team Jumbo-Visma. The contract has been entered into for a period of three years.

DPD’s logo will be displayed on all vehicles of Team Jumbo-Visma. DPD will also open a new Pickup Parcelshop at the delivery entrance to Team Jumbo-Visma’s new premises. DPD signed the contract together with partner Uniglobe Travel. Uniglobe Travel is a network of travel firms that stand for personal service. With more than 40 years of experience, they take care of business travel for SMEs.

Team Jumbo-Visma
Team Jumbo-Visma is a Dutch elite professional team that is visible 365 days a year and performs at the very highest level. By merging a professional cycling team and skating team, the foundations are being laid for a new organisational model in Dutch elite sport. The Team Jumbo-Visma cycling team, which includes Primoz Roglic and Wout van Aert, is active as a ProTour team. They perform in all competitions of the UCI World Tour where the team holds the number 1 position. Also part of the Team Jumbo-Visma skating team are Sven Kramer and Antoinette de Jong, the latter becoming world champion last month in the Thialf ice arena in Heerenveen.

DPD has supported several sports clubs for a number of years, at both regional and national level.
One example at national level is the Dutch Squash Federation (Squash Bond Nederland). Last January, DPD extended its sponsor contract by 2 years. Together with SBN, DPD will be organising the European Squash Championships in 2022.
