Opening first Squash Pickup parcel shop

DPD's head sponsorship of Squash Bond Nederland has taken on a new look with Dutch squash centres being linked up to DPD's European network of parcel Pickup shops. DPD has Europe's largest network of parcel collection points. There are 58,000 locations spread across Europe where you can pick up and send parcels. In the Netherlands that number has already reached more than 1,250 locations.

DPD is the first parcel service to undertake a large-scale partnership with sport centres expanding its network of parcel collection points. This fits DPD's strategy that aims to double the out-of-home market by 2025.

Meersquash Activity in Hoofddorp is the first. The 1st Squash Pickup parcel shop was recently opened there. The ceremonial opening was held with Paul Coll, the number 4 squash player in the world, in attendance. DPD hopes that its partnership will contribute to increased traffic at the squash locations and bring more people in contact with the sport.

An activation programme has also been developed in cooperation with Squash Bond Nederland to help advance this goal. Do you pick up or send parcels via one of the participating squash locations? Then you can use a 50% discount to come play squash. Visit dpd.nl to see which locations near you are also Pickup parcel shops.
