The export declaration. Required for goods worth over € 1,000.

Export declaration is compulsory for goods with a value above €1,000.

Electronic customs declaration

Customs will accept only electronic export declarations. This counts for all European exporting countries, for parcels with a value above €1,000. DPD can arrange customs clearance for you. We offer this service exclusively for those with no possibility to draft an export declaration through a third party. This ensures smooth passage for goods. We charge €27 per declaration for this service.

If you would like DPD to take care of your export declaration, you must issue a one-off ‘direct representation’ authorisation. This ensures that we can handle customs clearance. You remain responsible for the export declaration. DPD will accept no responsibitiy for this. As the sender, you must complete the the details on page 1 (client/direct representation) and page 3 (client/legal representation) for authorisation. If you are a private individual, you must also include a copy of your identity document, or a summary from the Chamber of Commerce for business. If you have already authorised DPD, you need take no further action.

You can download the authorisation below, When you have completed it, please return it to your local depot.
