We would like to inform our customers that, due to a technical issue, recipient enquiries submitted through the web form are not being delivered to our Customer Service team.
The issue may affect recipient questions, requests and complaints submitted via the Contact section of the dpd.hu website between 8 May 2026 and 19 June 2026.
Please note that enquiries sent directly to [email protected] are not affected by this issue.
The root cause of the problem is currently being investigated and corrective actions are underway; however, resolution is expected to take a longer period of time. If you contacted DPD Hungary Customer Service through the website during the above period and your enquiry is still relevant, please resubmit it by email to [email protected].

If the damage relating to the consignment occurs due to reasons attributable to the Sender (e.g. inadequate packaging, contents excluded from transport), and the Recipient wishes to recover the full value of the contents of the consignment, the Recipient may seek compensation directly from the Sender.
The liability of the postal service provider for damages is limited to the amount of the lump-sum compensation (in the context of international parcel delivery, the amount payable is determined on a CMR weight basis, which in practice is 8.33 SDR/kg per consignment; calculation method: the current HUF exchange rate of 1 SDR × 8.33 × the weight of the consignment). Example: if the parcel weighs 5 kg, the lump-sum compensation would be calculated as follows: 8.33 × HUF 458 (current HUF exchange rate of 1 SDR) × 5 kg = HUF 19,076, which would be the amount of compensation payable.
A compensation claim can be submitted on this page only if the relevant parcel has been delivered to the recipient or returned to the sender, including shipments ordered via the PickApp application.
