Easy choice for the greenest option

DPD has sustainability high on the agenda. As parcel delivery company we undertake all kinds of initiatives to make the delivery of parcels as sustainable as possible. Recipients can now see in the recipient portal which delivery option is the most sustainable. This makes it easy for them to choose the green option that suits them best.

As a recipient, you will receive an email or SMS with details of your parcel delivery. If you click on the myDPD recipient portal, you will see various delivery options. The options indicated with a green leaf logo are the most sustainable options.
If you choose, for example, to have your parcel delivered to a Pickup parcel shop, the driver only needs to make a single delivery attempt, and that’s better for the environment. The green leaf logo also remains visible during live tracking so recipients can still make a green choice up to 30 minutes before delivery. We hope that this addition will lead to more consciously green choices!
