DPD Slovenia and Maribor School of Transport deliver parcels together

In cooperation with the Maribor School of Transport, we started the Urban Logistics project.

Together, we strive to improve the system of delivery of small parcels to the city center, thereby reducing emissions and traffic loads of motor vehicles, and thus contribute to a higher quality of life in cities. Between 20 and 30 parcels from the school depot are delivered to the city center and its outskirts every day. Selected students deliver parcels in the Maribor area by bicycle and thus get to know and feel the entire delivery process first hand. As it is a green implementation, the project additionally takes on the dimension of "social responsibility".

We are happy about this cooperation and to see our green DPD bike on the streets of Maribor!
