Due to the larger number of online orders at this time of year, there are significantly larger volumes of parcels, which can prolong the delivery time.

  • at DPD Direct4.me parcel lockers available 24/7 - Zagreb headquarters, Slatinska 7, 9 locations in front of Lidl stores and 20 locations in front of Petrol retails throughout Croatia
  • at DPD City depot at Gundulićeva 21, Zagreb or you can choose delivery to a safe place, for example in a tool shed, garage, etc.

In addition, you should pay attention to the correctly filled in consignee information (name and surname, address, contact e-mail or phone number) and correctly paste the parcel label (remove all old parcel labels, paste it at the top side of the parcel in a visible place).

Also, please bear in mind that in case of parcel damage, compensation will not be possible without proof of the value of the goods in the parcel (invoice).

The peak season has officially begun. Thanks to the growing need for parcel distribution in the business segment, but also the general popularity of online shopping and discounts offered by e-merchants, we expect increased parcel volumes this year, which could increase by up to 50% on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We believe that in the last two months of this year, in the so-called "peak" season, the increase in package volume will be between 30-35% compared to the same period last year.

Don’t worry, DPD is ready and waiting for your parcels!

We are aware that you are recording increased traffic in the mentioned period, so we have adjusted our business and operational processes in order to comply with the estimated time of parcel delivery, all in compliance with the recommended health measures.

 

DPD depots

The main Hub Zagreb/Sesvete will be open for parcel acceptance of parcels on Sundays on 28.11., 5.12. and 12.12.2021 during working hours from 5 pm with prior announcement of the parcel on Thursday before the stated dates.

 

 

Additionally:

  • we have increased the number of people for operational processes in the main Hub in Zagreb,
  • if necessary, the opening of the hub will be organized on other dates/weekends with the obligatory announcement of the parcel on Monday or no later than Tuesday before the desired weekend,
  • if necessary, packages will be delivered to recipients at their home address on Saturdays,
  • parcels submitted to DPD on Saturday or Sunday for delivery will go on Monday.

 

On 24.12.2021. and 31.12.2021:

  • The working hours of the central depot in Zagreb and other depots are from 7.00 to 16.00
  • The working hours of the Customer Service are from 7:30 to 16:00
  • Zagreb depo: Parcels for which the order has been submitted by 9.00 am will be picked up on 24.12. until 12:00 and delivery will go on 27.12. 2021
  • Zagreb depo: Parcels for which the order has been submitted by 9.00 am will be picked up on 31.12. until 12:00 and delivery will go on 2.1. 2022
  • Other DPD depots on these dates will make regular collections, but the delivery of the parcels will be completed in full on 28.12.2021.

For all parcels picked up by DPD in week 50, the first delivery attempt will be in week 51, while for all parcels picked up by DPD in week 51, the first delivery attempt will be in week 52.

In addition, it is extremely important to let us know on time if you will have larger quantities of parcels than usual.
