What is Phishing?

Phishing means that internet criminals search for your login and personal details.

There circulates different types of Phishing emails. Some examples:

  • You will receive an email asking you to log in on a website that looks like that the DPD website but is a fake one. When you log in, your login details are immediately sent to the fraudster. 
  • You receive a request to pay for the delivery of a parcel.  
  • You will receive an e-mail stating that a parcel is waiting for delivery, but cannot be delivered by DPD. You will be asked to download a track label. With this installation, the criminals are able to automatically searches for personal data on your computer or causes a virus.Phishing means that internet criminals search for your login and personal details.
