Standard compensation:

For every parcel (except letterbox parcels) that you send via DPD's Online Shipping Portal, liability compensation applies against damage and loss. The following statutory rates apply to shipments:

• to domestic addresses: compensation is 3.40 euro per kg (up to a max. of 68 euro for 20 kg)
• to international addresses: compensation is 10 euro per kg (up to a max. of 200 euro for 20 kg)

DPD's liability is completely excluded for letterbox parcels, as these are delivered to the letterbox.

Additional compensation:

It is possible to increase DPD's liability. For an additional amount on top of your parcel price, you can increase DPD's liability to a maximum of 520 euro.
