At DPD, we will accordingly adjust our work and operational processes in such a way that the expected delivery deadlines are taken into account.

If you want to ensure that Santa Claus will deliver your gifts on time, we recommend that you make your purchases as soon as possible and do not delay them until the last moment.

At DPD, we have adapted our work and operational processes in such a way that the estimated delivery dates are taken into account, which is why we are the right choice for the delivery service.

  • in the DPD City depot on Gosposvetska cesta 1 in Ljubljana,
  • you can also choose personal pickup at 8 depots across Slovenia or redirect the parcel to a safe place (garage, terrace, etc.).

How to properly pack a parcel?

In order for your parcels  to arrive safely at their destination, we kindly ask you to ensure that the goods are properly packaged so that the contents of the parcel  are not damaged during transport. You can find more tips on proper packing at the link: Packing tips

In addition, we ask you to pay attention to the correctly completed information about the recipient of the parcel (name and surname, address, contact email address and telephone number). Also, stick the parcel label correctly, by removing all the old parcel labels beforehand, and sticking the new one on top of the parcel, in a visible place.

Delivery options

Due to the increased amount of parcels in the system, we kindly ask for your understanding and patience.

At DPD, we will all do our best to ensure that parcels are delivered on time. In addition to home delivery, alternative delivery options are also available, which will speed up parcel delivery even more. The recipient of the parcel can transfer it to DPD Pickup points (more than 650 locations in Slovenia), to DPD Pickup Station - parcel lockers (290 locations in Slovenia), to DPD City depot on Gosposvetska cesta 1 in Ljubljana, or they can also choose a personal pickup at 8 depots around Slovenia or the parcel is redirected to a safe place (garage, terrace, etc.).

By prior arrangement or with mandatory announcement (no later than Friday by 4 p.m.), parcels can be delivered to our HUB in Ljubljana also on Saturday between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. and on Sunday between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Parcels submitted on Saturday and Sunday are expected to be delivered on Monday.
