Reliable logistics for the big moment - DPD also logistics partner of the German Film Awards in 2025

Aschaffenburg/Berlin, May, 8th 2025 - The German Film Awards will be presented for the 75th time on 9 May 2025 in the festive setting of the Theater am Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. While the talents of German film will be celebrated in the auditorium, DPD Germany will begin its crucial work behind the scenes.

The coveted LOLA statuettes, which will be presented at the award ceremony that evening, are still unengraved at the time of the award ceremony, as the names of the winners will remain under lock and key until the last minute.

As the official logistics partner of the German Film Academy, DPD ensures that each individual trophy is taken to the engraver after the show and then handed back to the newly honoured filmmakers reliably, safely and personally.

Our job begins where the applause ends. We don't just deliver trophies from A to B - we are responsible for one of the most important moments in the lives of artists. DPD has been an integral part of this process since 2018 - always in the background, but with maximum commitment. It is an honour for us to be able to present the award winners with their engraved LOLA in person.
