You keep everything moving, load and unload parcels and operate the telescope conveyor. You are skilled at identifying missing parcel information and apply tried-and-tested processes to make sure that the parcels keep rolling along the conveyors. This work is ideal for team players, because everyone in the sorting hall works in close cooperation.
Contact person, coach, fixer – as a tour supervisor you work in direct cooperation with our transport subcontractors and delivery drivers. You actively support them in their daily operations, providing guidance and information, developing ideas and solving problems. Your tasks range from planning tours to documenting operations. Routine? No way, because every day is different.
As a sales agent you can look forward to a variety of exciting and diverse tasks in internal sales operations. You will research and acquire new customers, analyse requirements and potentials, draw up offers and arrange appointments. You will also make sure that our existing customers feel they are well looked after. Thanks to regular further training you will always stay up to date.
Do you enjoy persuading people, maintaining contacts and achieving fixed targets? Then a job as a sales professional is sure to be the right challenge for you. Your mission: acquiring new customers for DPD and providing support for existing customers. You will therefore do a lot of travelling with your company car for the purpose of visiting potential and existing customers. You will analyse requirements, make calculations, draw up quotations and carry out negotiations.
As a member of the Customer Service team you help customers with their concerns.
In the front office you receive incoming customer inquiries. This can be praise or criticism by phone, an email inquiry about a DPD product or a message on Facebook about a technical problem. Most of the queries you can answer yourself, others you pass on to the back office for processing.
As a back office employee you answer questions about parcel shipping with DPD by telephone or email. You will be guided by tried-and-tested processes and use our customer service tools.
The close cooperation of Customer Service with other departments makes the job real teamwork. In this way you solve every problem personally, competently and with courtesy - and inspire our customers.
We offer our employees many opportunities to exchange ideas and further training. At staff events, seminars at the DPD Academy and other events, you can broaden your professional horizons and continue your education in a targeted manner!
We support you in reconciling your private and professional life. For example, if you are planning a sabbatical or need to look after relatives, we will try to find a way together. And if there's a baby on the way, we will talk to you about possible individual working time concepts.
We are responsible employers. Whether it's carbon-neutral parcel shipping or social involvement: with our DrivingChangeTM sustainability strategy we concentrate on those areas in which we can make a real difference. For example, in 2016 the DPD Foundation was established for the purpose of providing aid to children, young adults and families.
Our corporate culture is characterised by trust, respect, transparency, responsibility, openness, solidarity and team spirit. Ambitious team players who treat each other fairly and are happy to assume responsibility are exactly what we are looking for.
