The DPD Germany App once again made a strong impact. The international express and parcel service provider was honoured no less than twice in the 2020 DtGV App Awards, which are presented by Germany's Society for Consumer Studies (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Verbraucherstudien). The app was not only named a TOP app across all industries, but also took first place in the parcel service industry. A total of 674 apps from 95 industries were considered.

For the ranking process the German Society for Consumer Studies evaluated over 180,000 user opinions. In the survey on which the ranking is based, only the opinions of people who have actively used the app in the last 2 years were included. Among other things, parameters such as advice and service, prices and the range of offers were evaluated. This results in an overall so-called "App satisfaction score". With 7.1 of 10 possible points, the DPD app was ranked as one of the 15 best smartphone programmes.
