Warning strikes at DPD in North Rhine-Westphalia

DPD is one of the companies that are affected by warning strikes by the ver.di trade union in North Rhine-Westphalia. Currently our parcel centres in Duisburg and Erftstadt (warning strikes on Thursday, 07.10.) are on strike.

In our Duisburg branch, which also serves Düsseldorf, Krefeld and Wesel, among others, there may be delays in the pickup of parcels. The same applies to the area covered by our parcel centre in Erftstadt, which also includes the city of Cologne. As a result there will be delays in the transit time of many parcels.

So far, parcel delivery has been largely trouble-free.

We apologise to all shippers and consignees for the delays and will reduce any backlogs as quickly as possible.
