To ensure first-time delivery for your groceries, we tell consignees the exact hour when their parcel will arrive.
Your benefits at a glance:

On the day before the delivery the consignee receives an email or push message stating the day of delivery and the available redirection options.

On the day of delivery the consignee receives a message indicating the precise one-hour time window for the delivery.

The consignee can follow the delivery live in the Live-Tracking function.
Live-Tracking
The GPS-supported Live-Tracking function shows consignees on an online map exactly where their parcel is.

On the day of delivery we inform the consignee of the one-hour time window in which we will deliver the parcel.

During Live-Tracking the time window even runs down to 30 minutes.

The delivery status is updated minute by minute. Consignees know exactly how many stops the driver still has to make.
Redirection options
We offer consignees a range of possibilities to change the day or place of the delivery if they are not going to be at home.

DPD Food Consignees specify themselves when and where we deliver their parcels. If they aren't going to be at home, they can change the day or method of delivery.

DPD Food Express / 12:00 Consignees who won't be at home at the time of delivery can provide a one-off or general deposit okay, for example for the parcel to be left in the garage.
If a parcel can't be delivered, the shipment is handed over to a partner charity. This makes sure that no foodstuffs are wasted.
