Thomas Peter is DPD Germany's new Chief Compliance Officer

DPD Germany has appointed Thomas Peter as Chief Compliance Officer (CCO). In his new role he has since 1 December reported directly to the CEO. Mr Peter also liaises with the Corporate Compliance Committee of the international DPDgroup, which gives the subject of compliance an even higher profile within the company.

Thomas Peter has been Senior Group Manager Corporate Compliance & Internal Audit for DPD Germany since 1 September 2021, and will continue to be responsible for this area. As CCO his core task is to ensure that laws and regulations are complied with both within the company and in all its external activities. In doing so he will work closely with DPDgroup's Corporate Compliance Committee, as Germany is one of the group's largest business units.

With their responsibility for coordinating audits within the company, Thomas Peter and his team have already successfully set the course for the future. They recently achieved a milestone with the re-certification of DPD's quality and environmental management in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 respectively.

Thomas Peter, a business graduate and father of two from the municipality of Krostitz in northern Saxony, has many years of expertise in the field of management systems. He regards it as crucial to involve his staff in everything he does, and to convince them of the necessity and advantages of solidly implemented processes.
