DPD Germany: Eric Malitzke strengthens management team

• Eric Malitzke to join the management team of DPD Germany as of September 1st

• Following several months of introduction Eric Malitzke will take over as CEO of DPD Germany by the beginning of 2020

• Boris Winkelmann, long-serving CEO of DPD Germany, takes over new responsibilities at the Paris based Group Headquarters by the beginning of 2020

Aschaffenburg, 02 September 2019 – With the appointment of Eric Malitzke (46) as managing director DPD Germany strengthens its management team. Following several months of introduction he will take over as CEO of DPD Germany by the beginning of 2020. The long-serving CEO Boris Winkelmann, who‘s been heading DPD Germany since 2013, takes over new responsibilities at the Paris based Headquarters of the international DPDgroup by the beginning of 2020. Until then he’s preparing the thoroughly arranged hand-over to his successor.

As CEO of Fiege Switzerland, Eric Malitzke was in charge for the international Fiege Group since 2015, which is one of Europe’s leading contract logistics providers. Before he served as Director Operations at Amazon since 2012 and opened Amazon’s distribution centres in Poland. He started his career at Fraport AG, afterwards he was managing director of the Leipzig/Halle airport since 2003. By 2009 he joined Deutsche Post DHL to become CEO of the Leipzig based European DHL hub.
