Online settlement of disputes for consumers:
The EU Commission has made available to consumers an Internet platform for the out-of-court settlement of disputes connected with online contracts for the purchase of goods or services.This platform is available under the following link:

General duty to provide information in accordance with Section 36 of the Consumer Dispute Settlement Act (VSBG):
DPD Deutschland GmbH is obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a Consumer Arbitration Board. Consumers (senders and their recipients) can call on the Consumer Arbitration Board to settle disputes about rights and obligations in the event of loss, theft or damage to postal items or infringement of their own rights to which they are entitled on the basis of a legal ordinance pursuant to Section 18 PostG if it has not been possible to reach an agreement with DPD Deutschland GmbH.

DPD Deutschland GmbH does not participate in dispute resolution proceedings within the meaning of the VSBG.
