How does the selection process work at DPD?

Depending on the location, position and department, there may be differences in the selection process, because we want to respond individually to you as an applicant.

Once you have sent your application, you will receive a confirmation of receipt from us. We will then check your documents carefully. The selection process then typically continues as follows.

Application for a commercial position:

If we have the feeling that it could be a good fit both professionally and personally, we will invite you either to a 30-minute telephone interview or directly to a video interview via Microsoft Teams. For example, we will talk about the individual stages of your CV, your motivation to change your job, your general conditions and your wishes. Of course, you can also use this opportunity to ask us any questions you may have.

If the initial interview was successful, we will invite you to an on-site interview. Several participants will be present. Together, we would like to discuss professional and personal questions with you in more detail.

Application for a logistics position (e.g. as a warehouse helper / warehouse employee):

Depending on the location, you may be invited either directly to a personal interview on site or for a trial period. Both serve to get to know you and give you a realistic insight into your future tasks.

After the on-site interview, you will receive prompt feedback from us and also have the opportunity to give us feedback.
